FAQ

How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?

Strips needed = total wall width ÷ roll width, rounded up. Strips per roll = roll length ÷ strip length, rounded down. Rolls = strips needed ÷ strips per roll, rounded up.

How does pattern repeat change the count?

Each strip must start at the same point of the pattern, so its length is rounded up to a whole number of repeats. A bigger repeat can mean fewer strips per roll.

Where do I find roll width and length?

On the roll label or the product page. Roll sizes differ by brand and country, so the app does not guess them.

Should I subtract doors and windows?

The app does not subtract them. If you want to, take the width of each full-height opening off the total wall width yourself before you type it.

What does this not include?

Price, paste, ceilings, sloped walls, matching across separate rolls of different batches, and mistakes. No hidden waste percent is added beyond the trim you type.
